Less “marketing” than Zermatt or Verbier, but with a technical standard that satisfies demanding skiers.

Accommodation

Davos (1,560 m) is more urban and larger, with conference hotels and shops. Klosters (~1,100 m) is the discreet village of British royalty, quieter and more exclusive. Both offer everything from apartments to grand luxury.

Après-ski

Davos has livelier nightlife (bars, international restaurants). Klosters is more intimate and refined. It is not a party destination like Ischgl, but rather serious skiing with excellent gastronomy.

How to get there

Plane: Zurich (2–2.5 hours by train)
Train: Direct from Zurich via Landquart; stations in both villages with immediate lift access
Car: Motorway to Landquart, then road to Davos (~30 min) or Klosters (~15 min)

For the advanced Spanish skier who has already done the “great classics” and seeks real terrain with very long pistes and serious freeride. Combines excellently with [[flims-laax-falera]] or [[arosa-lenzerheide]] on a week-long “Graubünden” trip. The direct train from Zurich makes it logistically straightforward.
