Méribel occupies the central valley of Les 3 Vallées: Courchevel to the left, Les Menuires and Val Thorens to the right. This geographical position makes it the natural hub of the domain — from Méribel you can access any corner of the 600 km in less than 30 minutes of skiing.

The valley itself totals 150 km of pistes and 58 lifts, with a vertical drop of nearly 1,900 m between Les Allues (1,100 m) and Mont Vallon (2,952 m). The village, designed in 1938 by British architect Peter Lindsay Bennett, respects Savoyard architecture with timber and stone houses — authentic without being rustic.

It is the most balanced resort in Les 3 Vallées: neither the extreme luxury of Courchevel nor the austere altitude of Val Thorens. Families, couples, groups of friends — everyone finds their place.
