Muerren is the even more isolated alternative to Wengen. A car-free village (cable car access only), perched on a 1,338m terrace with Eiger-Matterhorn-Jungfrau views. Connected to Schilthorn (2,970m) by a spectacular cable car.

Skiing is technical and exposed: red and black runs with character, accessible freeride from Schilthorn. Less volume than Grindelwald, but pure mountain atmosphere. The integrated Jungfrau Region domain allows exploration across 213km.

Perfect for technical skiers who accept the full package: isolation, minimal infrastructure, epic views, uncompromising skiing.

Intermediate platform. Connection hub to Grindelwald via First. Varied terrain. Less crowded than Schilthorn.

Gletscherschliff

Long red run 1,000m. Frequent powder. Technical descent but skiable. Safe option from altitude.

Stätzbach

Mogul black, 40°. Sustained gradient. Frequent powder after snowfall. Monument of technical skiing.
