Chalet fact sheet
Cygne is the chalet I book for clients who’ve had enough of twelve-bed chalets: “this time it’s just us, no one else invited”.
Eight beds, hot tub, fireplace. Same building in two operating modes: with chef and host (catered) or with daily cleaning and self-catering (serviced). The price difference between the two modes is exactly the cost of kitchen service.
Have you ever noticed that eight people fit perfectly around a round table and twelve already need a rectangle? Cygne is designed for that difference.
Catered Mode — chef and host living with you
The classic F&P formula. Breakfast before first run, tea and pastries at four, four-course dinner at eight. Price is per whole chalet, all-inclusive except alcohol. It works out value for money when it’s full.
Serviced Mode — the whole chalet, no chef
The same building as an independent apartment. Daily cleaning, fully equipped kitchen, supermarket five minutes away, flexible hours. Some clients tell me that on holiday the last thing they want is someone asking “chicken or fish?” every night. If that’s you, this is your mode. Some weeks serviced costs half the catered price.
Don’t book if you’re twelve. For that size there’s Trois Ours or Serendipity with their respective extras.
Cygne is the chalet I’d book if I travelled with my family and only my family.

Best for
Two families with three small children, or group of eight friends who value privacy over size. Choose catered if you want to forget about cooking; serviced if you prefer flexible hours.
Do not go if
If you're twelve, look at Trois Ours or Serendipity. Cygne runs short at the top.
