La Tania is a village-resort set in the middle of the forest, halfway between Courchevel and Méribel. It has no ski domain of its own — it integrates completely into the 150 km of Courchevel valley and the 600 km of Les 3 Vallées. But that is precisely its advantage: full access to the world’s largest ski domain from a quiet, family-friendly village that is significantly cheaper than Courchevel 1850.

Built for the Albertville 1992 Winter Olympics, La Tania was designed from scratch as a car-free family resort. A gondola takes you directly to Courchevel’s domain, and from there the whole world of Les 3 Vallées opens up.

3. Forest pistes for stormy days When visibility is poor on the peaks (Saulire, Creux Noirs), the forest pistes around La Tania are the best in Les 3 Vallées — sheltered from wind, with visual references, snow between trees.

4. Strategic location Halfway between Courchevel and Méribel, La Tania allows you to access both valleys without much travel. It’s a quiet hub.

There are no luxury hotels — that’s the point. La Tania is functional, well-equipped accommodation right at the gondola base.

Quiet and family-friendly. A handful of mountain bars and restaurants. No nightclubs or late-night scene — if you want that, Méribel or Val Thorens are one lift away.
